19 March 2010, Beijing –ACEF Vice Chairman and Secretary General Mr. Zeng Xiaodong today met with the GE Vice President Ms. Ann R. Klee in Beijing.

Mr. Zeng introduced to Ms. Ann Klee the organizational structure and the main working area of ACEF, and made sincere invitations to GE for the participation in ACEF’s brand events, including China International Forum on Environment and Development, China International Exhibition of Achievements in Building an Environmentally-Friendly Society, and so on. Ms. Wang Yuming, the Director of International Cooperation Department introduced about the key international programmes carried out by ACEF and their achievements in contributing to the development of environmental protection in China.

Ms. Ann Klee expressed her thanks for Mr. Zeng’s invitations, and she said she was greatly impressed by the work of ACEF as an environmental NGO, especially by the legal service and assistance provided for environmental pollution victims. GE has the interest in the area of low carbon development, and she hoped the two sides could bring further cooperation in related fields.

Mr. Qin Zhigang, GE EHS Director in North Asia and Mr. Gaoxiang Pan, the GE EHS Legal Counsel in North Asia were present at the meeting.
