    The World’s top three sopranos gave a concert to promote environmental culture, advocate love of the environment and together care for the mother earth at Great Hall of the People, Beijing on August 12, 2011. The three sopranos include Luz Del Alba fromUruguay, Alyson Cambridge from the United States and Simona Bertini from Italy. The concert organized by All-China Environment Federation and Central Opera House. It is the first show of these three sopranos across Asia.  
      

    Born in 1968, Alba has performed in many places and won many awards. She made her first international debut at a Frankfurt Summer Festival in Germany in 1997 and has performed in countries such as France, Italy, Denmark and the United States.
      

    Cambridge studied at the Curtis Institute of Music. In 2003, she passed Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, which gained her entrance into the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program. In 2004, she made her Met debut as Frasquita in Georges Bizet’s “Carmen” and has since appeared in several roles with that company.
      

    Bertini is a young Italian soprano who has just appeared on the international stage. She quickly gained worldwide attention for her strong voice and outstanding skills and has performed all around the world.
      

    They sang 20 classic songs about nature and the environment at the concert, including classic Chinese songs such as “Ebben me ne andro lontana,” “Quando men vo from “La Boheme” Puccini” and “Green Wish.”
